Part of the next generation of stone-based surface materials, Porcelain/Sintered is like the love-child of natural stone and engineered stone.

A manufactured material, it features the durability and uniformity of engineered stone but is made from all-natural, stone-based products using processes that replicate nature – though a lot quicker.

To make sintered materials, carefully selected crushed stone and a blend of specific minerals are subjected to incredibly high temperatures under incredibly high pressure to do, in a few hours, what it takes Mother Nature millions of years to accomplish. The result: a hard-wearing but superbly attractive product that looks almost identical to stone, can be cut and shaped to customers’ needs and stands up to the most rigorous of conditions – and all for much less than its naturally created ‘sibling’.
